Our participation in today's Summit has special historical significance, Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov said at the 11th D-8 Summit in Cairo, APA reports.
The Prime Minister noted that today, the member states that have shown friendship and trust towards Azerbaijan made a unanimous historical decision regarding the country's membership in D-8: "For this, we express our gratitude to all member states. Azerbaijan will make a significant contribution to preserving the organization's core principles and further expanding cooperation within the organization."
