President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a working visit to Azerbaijan on October 6-7 at the invitation of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, APA reports citing press service of Uzbek President.
Mirziyoyev will participate in the next Summit of the Organization of Turkic States to be held in Gabala.
The agenda of the meeting, held under the theme of "Regional Peace and Security", includes current issues related to the further development and deepening of multilateral cooperation within the framework of the Organization.
Prospects for practical cooperation in political, trade-economic, innovation, investment, energy, transport-communication, humanitarian and other priority areas will be discussed.
