We sincerely rejoice at Azerbaijan’s development, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev said at the third meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, APA's special correspondent reports.
“We have just seen the results we have achieved within a short period of time. I think this is also an example for our teams. As we have just done, we discussed everything in detail during our meeting in a narrow format. There are also many projects ahead that are to be presented to us.
“In the spirit of states bound by a common history, cultural affinity and mutual respect, today we are opening the third meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council. The impeccable functioning of this mechanism is the best demonstration of the highest level of allied relations achieved by our countries. Before moving on to the issues on the agenda, I would like to congratulate you on the successful results of the far-sighted and profound course of reforms you are pursuing in Azerbaijan.
“As brothers and allies, we sincerely rejoice at the dynamic and sustainable development of Azerbaijan’s economy. New sectors and modern infrastructure are being created. All of this consistently serves to improve the well-being of the Azerbaijani people. The sovereign policy you are resolutely pursuing contributes to strengthening the country’s international standing and advancing the agenda of peace and development in the South Caucasus,” Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.
