President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev informed his Iranian counterpart, Masoud Pezeshkian, about the destruction of mosques in Shusha, APA reports.
President Ilham Aliyev emphasized that the mosques in Shusha were destroyed during the occupation.
The head of state noted that there were 17 neighborhoods and 17 mosques in Shusha, of which 16 were completely destroyed and one was partially ruined.
Masoud Pezeshkian was also briefed on the restoration and reconstruction work being carried out in Shusha.
