I highly appreciate the results of the visit, President Ilham Aliyev said in an interview with the media regarding the results of his visit to the US, APA reports.
The head of state noted that, first of all, being on a working visit to America at the invitation of President Trump is of great importance for Azerbaijani-American relations:
“I can say that today a new page is opened in American-Azerbaijani relations, a page of cooperation and strategic partnership. Of course, establishing relations with the US at this level is a very important issue in terms of protecting Azerbaijan's national interests.”
