As reported, today on August 28, President Ilham Aliyev received Magdalena Grono, the European Union's Special Representative for the South Caucasus, APA reports.
During the meeting, it was noted that Azerbaijan supports confidence-building measures with Armenia on a bilateral basis.
The importance of establishing unhindered transport and transit connections between the main part of Azerbaijan and its Nakhchivan region was once again emphasized, and it was stated that there are extensive opportunities for cooperation with the European Union, particularly in the direction of renewing transport infrastructure in Nakhchivan.
