President Ilham Aliyev showed a commemorative gift previously presented to him by US President Donald Trump during a meeting with US Assistant Secretary of State Caleb Orr held today, APA reports.
The gift is a memorandum on the extension of the suspension of Section 907 of the Freedom Support Act.
It should be noted that the commemorative copy signed by the US President contains a sincere personal message addressed to the Azerbaijani head of state in his own handwriting.
Recall that the US leader sent the memorandum on the suspension of the implementation of Section 907 of the Freedom Support Act, accompanied by his personal note, to the Azerbaijani President as a commemorative gift.
President Aliyev thanked Donald Trump for his kind words.
