Preparations are underway for OTS Summit to be held in Azerbaijan

"The informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) is planned to be held in Hungary in May, while the official summit is scheduled to take place in Azerbaijan in October.", said Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov in his statement to journalists, APA reports.

He mentioned that preparations for the event are currently underway: "The Organization of Turkic States is an important international organization for Azerbaijan. As President Ilham Aliyev has stated, this is our family organization, and Azerbaijan has always been an active participant here. Holding two summits of the Organization, one official and one informal, each year has already become a good tradition. Last year, the informal summit was held in Azerbaijan, in Shusha, where the historic Garabagh Declaration was adopted. The informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States is planned to be held in Hungary in May, and the official summit is scheduled to be held in Azerbaijan. Active preparations are currently being made in this regard."
