After the historic meeting in Washington, favorable conditions have been created for the signing of the Framework Agreement between Azerbaijan and the United States and preliminary discussions have been held, said Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov at a special meeting dedicated to President Ilham Aliyev's visit to Washington held at the Cabinet of Ministers, APA reports.
The minister said that financing in the energy sector remains one of the important issues in cooperation between the United States and Azerbaijan.
Mikayil Jabbarov noted that the contribution of our country to energy security in the region and the world was particularly noted at the meetings: "Azerbaijan's rich energy resources, including renewable energy resources, also attracted attention."
