A jazz concert titled Voicingers Renuion was held on the occasion of the end of Poland's six-month presidency of the European Union, APA reports.
According to the report, the concert was organized by the Polish Embassy in Azerbaijan.
Ambassador Pawel Radomski opened the event with an introductory speech.
He told the participants about the work done during the presidency:
"During our presidency, our country has always demonstrated its commitment to the priorities of the European Union. These priorities also include such an important issue as ensuring security within the European Union. Although we have already handed over our presidency, we intend to continue supporting the peoples within the union."
The ambassador also spoke about the cultural relations of the Eurozone countries and noted the important role of cultural diplomacy:
"The organization of today's jazz concert is not accidental. We are solemnly celebrating the end of our chairmanship. This event will feature magnificent works by renowned jazz masters from both Azerbaijan and the world. I am sure that every guest will enjoy the event."
The event continued with an artistic part.
