Phone conversation held between chairmen of Azerbaijani Parliament and Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine

Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova and Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk have held a telephone conversation, the Press and Public Relations Department of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament) told APA.

During the call, the sides discussed cooperation between the two countries’ parliaments and expressed satisfaction with the current state of relations.

Against the backdrop of the comprehensive development of Azerbaijan–Ukraine relations, the parties reviewed ways to further expand inter-parliamentary cooperation and emphasized the importance of reciprocal visits. In this context, Speaker Sahiba Gafarova invited Ruslan Stefanchuk to visit the Republic of Azerbaijan.

During the conversation, confidence was expressed that inter-parliamentary ties would continue to develop both bilaterally and within the framework of international organizations through joint efforts.
