Hungary’s energy needs could not be met without the Turkic states, said Hungary's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjártó at the meeting of foreign ministers of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) held in Budapest, APA reports.
“We see efforts aimed at treating energy supply as a political issue, detached from reality. But in such a case, you can’t heat your home. If the TurkStream pipeline hadn’t been built, it would be physically impossible to supply natural gas to Hungary today,” Szijjártó emphasized.
