In accordance with the requirements of the Convention on Extradition dated December 13, 1957, the request submitted by the Prosecutor General’s Office regarding the extradition of Azerbaijani citizen Nariman Iskandarov has been granted by the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine, the Prosecutor General’s Office told APA.
During the preliminary investigation conducted by the Main Department for Combating Cybercrime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, reasonable suspicion was established that Nariman Iskandarov committed theft causing significant damage by using electronic data carriers as part of a group acting in prior collusion.
For this reason, a decision was made to charge Nariman Iskandarov as an accused person, and since he evaded the investigation and went into hiding, he was placed on an international wanted list. Relevant measures are currently underway to bring him to Azerbaijan.
