Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has outlined the principles on which peace with Azerbaijan should be based, APA reports.
Pashinyan made the remarks during a live broadcast on social media.
According to him, as a result of the peace agreement, Armenia's territory should be 29,743 square kilometers: "There should also be no enclaves or exclaves on either side of the border, and Armenia and Azerbaijan should exchange territories of equivalent size."
Pashinyan noted that all roads and communication lines should be open both within and outside the framework of the "Crossroads of Peace" project: "Armenia and Azerbaijan should not make any claims against each other and should leave each other alone on all issues. There should be no claims, including those based on the logic of Karabakh, Girdman, Shirvan, Nakhchivan or Western Azerbaijan."
According to the Armenian Prime Minister, following his latest contacts with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Turkmenistan, he came to the conclusion that peace between the two countries could be ensured precisely in this way.
