Members of the Azerbaijan–Russia Intergovernmental Commission became familiar with the reconstruction and restoration work carried out in Aghali village of Zangilan, APA’s correspondent, dispatched to Zangilan reports.
The members of the Intergovernmental Commission, who were on a visit to the Zangilan district, first went to Aghali village and got acquainted with the construction work being carried out there.
The guests were informed about the work implemented within the framework of the “Smart Village” project in Aghali, the foundation of which was laid by the head of state in April 2021.
It was noted that within the project, 200 fully insulated individual eco-houses built using innovative construction materials, a school for 360 students, and a kindergarten for 60 children have been constructed in the village.
The delegation met with local residents and was treated to sweets prepared by them.
It should be noted that the 24th meeting of the Intergovernmental State Commission will be held in Zangilan.
The meeting will be co-chaired by Azerbaijan’s Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev and Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk. Representatives of relevant ministries and agencies of both countries will attend the meeting.
