France is a colonial state, and Emmanuel Macron is a follower of this policy, Kemi Seba, a Pan-African political activist and journalist known for his anti-colonial and anti-imperialist stance, said at a press conference held in Baku, APA reports.
He emphasized that the French government pursues a policy of erasing the heritage of local people in the territories it has colonized: "France never treats colonized peoples fairly. The French government is a colonial state. They are trying to erase the heritage of the peoples living in our territories. The only way to break free from this policy and access our mineral resources is through struggle. We believe that relations with France should be terminated, and a fundamental alliance should be established among African peoples. On the other hand, relationships with countries wishing to establish trade ties with us are very important."
