"Azerbaijan and Pakistan are connected by common cultural and human ties. These ties create a strong foundation for our cooperation with brotherly Azerbaijan," Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan Mohammad Ishaq Dar said at a joint press conference with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov in Islamabad, APA reports.
The Minister noted that during today's meeting, all aspects of the relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan were discussed: "We will further deepen our relations in the fields of trade, investment, connectivity, energy, and defense. We are taking steps to increase mutual investments in the energy sector. The activities of the joint working group in the energy sector are important for our cooperation in this field."
The Foreign Minister stated that his country will work towards further developing inter-parliamentary relations with Azerbaijan.
