Pakistan has expressed serious concern over the recent attacks on Türkiye and Azerbaijan, APA reports citing a statement issued by the Pakistani Foreign Ministry.
It was noted that targeting brotherly countries Türkiye and Azerbaijan is a clear violation of international law and the principles of interstate relations and may lead to further escalation of tensions in the region.
The statement emphasized that Pakistan reaffirms its strong solidarity with Türkiye and Azerbaijan.
At the same time, the parties were called upon to exercise restraint and prioritize dialogue and diplomacy in order to maintain regional peace and stability.
