OTS Secretary General welcomes Azerbaijan-Armenia agreement

Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), Kubanychbek Omuraliev, welcomed the signing of a joint declaration by the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia at the White House, APA reports.

The Secretary General issued a statement on the matter.

“I welcome the signing of a joint declaration by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, witnessed by the President of the United States. I strongly support the initialing of the text of the agreement on the establishment of Peace and Interstate relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia. I also express my support for the joint appeal by both countries to the OSCE regarding the dissolution of the Minsk Process. This historic event is a landmark step towards ensuring lasting peace, stability, and prosperity in the South Caucasus and beyond,” Kubanychbek Omuraliev stated in his statement.
