"The member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) have no negative stance toward the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC)," said Binali Yildirim, Chairman of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States during the Council's meeting held in the TRNC, APA’s Istanbul correspondent reports.
He noted that some reports published in the media aim to undermine the respect and affection among the Turkic states, and the best response to these claims is the fact that the OTS Council of Elders is holding its meeting in Northern Cyprus.
“There is no negative stance by the OTS toward the TRNC. As a country with observer status, we will continue to develop our relations with the TRNC. Other irrelevant matters are not on our agenda. We are stronger today than we were yesterday,” Yildirim emphasized.
