The parties express their determination to further strengthen solidarity, cooperation, and coordination in all areas by utilizing the great potential and opportunities among the Turkic states and welcome the valuable contributions of Hungary, Turkmenistan, and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus to the work of the organization as observers, APA reports.
This is stated in the Declaration signed by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, the President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Kubanychbek Omuraliev.
It is also emphasized that a mutually acceptable and viable solution to the Cyprus issue through negotiations is necessary.
