"Steps are being taken in accordance with the OSCE concept," said OSCE Secretary-General Feridun Sinirlioğlu at a joint press conference with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, APA reports.
He noted that the OSCE is not a military organization and strives to ensure security through mutual diplomacy: "When the OSCE was founded, its purpose was arms control, disarmament, human rights, and the environment. The security architecture extends beyond the European geography. How can we prevent future threats at the heart of Europe? The OSCE can play a role in ensuring peace and a secure future."
