Moscow is following
the beginning of the practical phase of the delimitation of the state border between Azerbaijan and Armenia. This is significant for regional stability, Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said at a briefing held today, APA reports.
"We support the settlement of all delimitation issues solely by political and diplomatic methods. We assume that the agreements need to be stable, balanced, and mutually acceptable, and be the basis for achieving sustainable peace in the region."
Also, Zakharova confirmed Russia's readiness to provide advisory assistance to the two parties in border delimitation on the basis of tripartite agreements.
