"There are individuals in Armenia who have committed war crimes against humanity against the Azerbaijani people, and they must also be brought to justice", Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, Hikmet Hajiyev told journalists, APA reports.
He emphasized that Armenia's belief that it can influence Azerbaijan's will through any resolutions is misguided: "Armenia and its supporters are mistaken in these thoughts. At the same time, the issue of compensation is also under discussion. Following the instructions of the President, Azerbaijan's relevant bodies have carried out precise and comprehensive assessments using modern methods to evaluate the damage caused during Armenia's 30-year occupation, including the destruction of cities, villages, cultural heritage, and the looting of material and cultural assets. This issue is also a separate topic of discussion to ensure a full, comprehensive, and lasting peace in the region."
