"The end of the occupation of Garabagh is a key milestone for lasting peace in the region. Regional peace must be sustainable," Hakan Fidan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye said at a briefing for local and international media representatives, APA reports.
The minister said that the unstable situation in the South Caucasus has not benefited anyone: "Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev is taking steps for the development of both the region and Azerbaijan."
Hakan Fidan noted that several articles need to be agreed upon for lasting peace: "We hope that these articles will also be agreed upon in 2025."
