Member of the Georgian Parliament Anzor Bolkvadze has been included in the Georgia-Azerbaijan Friendship Group, APA’s local bureau reports.
The decision was made at the bureau of the legislative body.
With this, the number of members in the Azerbaijan-Georgia Friendship Group has reached 29.
A. Bolkvadze is a MP from the ruling "Georgian Dream" party. He is also the Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Regional Policy and Self-Government.
Note that no new head has been appointed for the friendship group yet. This position was previously held by Givi Mikanadze, who was appointed as Georgia’s Minister of Education, Science and Youth on June 30 of this year.
