On the occasion of November 8 - Victory Day, an event was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Turkmenistan, the embassy told APA.
The ambassador of Azerbaijan to Turkmenistan, Gismat Gozalov, who spoke at the event, first remembered the dear memory of our martyrs who gave this Victory to our people and died for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan.
The ambassador emphasized that under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev, thanks to the bravery of the heroic Azerbaijani Army, our country restored its territorial integrity and sovereign rights within its borders recognized by the international community, and now our national flag is flying over the entire sovereign territory of Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijanis living in Turkmenistan, public and media representatives participated in the event.
