He stated that the organization he represents demands the immediate shutdown of the Metsamor Nuclear Power Plant: “The main initiator of this effort is the ‘Doğa ve Çevre’ Public Association, which operates in Türkiye. Recently, Turkish environmentalists adopted a special declaration at an event in Igdır regarding the harmful activities of the Metsamor Nuclear Power Plant. Armenia does not publish any reports on its mining activities near the border with Azerbaijan. I believe that concrete steps must be taken to stop the operation of this plant.”
