“Making the Organization of Turkic States more effective and efficient is a strategic step,” Hakan Fidan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye said during a joint press conference with Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov in Baku, APA's Türkiye correspondent reports.
He noted that work is being done to further advance the solidarity, projects, and cooperation within the OTS, which covers 170 million people.
Hakan Fidan also mentioned that the next summit of the Organization of the Turkic States will be held in Azerbaijan in 2025.
Jeyhun Bayramov said that it is planned to hold the OTS Summit in Hungary in 2025, and then in Azerbaijan.
