A commemorative evening dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of the birth of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, was held at the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Russia, APA's Moscow correspondent reports
The event was organized jointly by the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Russia and the Russian office of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. It was attended by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin, heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Moscow, prominent public figures, representatives of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation's Russian office, activists of the Azerbaijani Youth Union of Russia (AMOR), and notable members of the Azerbaijani diaspora.
Opening the event, Ambassador Rahman Mustafayev spoke about Heydar Aliyev's exceptional role in Azerbaijan's history and his significant contributions to the formation of the modern Azerbaijani statehood.
