A delegation led by Mongolia’s Prosecutor General Jargalsaikhan Banzragch is on an official visit to Azerbaijan at the invitation of Kamran Aliyev, the Press Service of the Prosecutor General’s Office told APA.
Today Jargalsaikhan Banzragch laid a wreath at the grave of National Leader Heydar Aliyev in the Alley of Honor and also visited the graves of prominent ophthalmologist scientist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva, well-known statesman Aziz Aliyev, and Professor Tamerlan Aliyev.
The guests who visited the Alley of Martyrs laid flowers at the graves of those who were martyred for Azerbaijan’s independence.
During the meeting held between Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev and his Mongolian counterpart, it was noted that relations between the two countries are developing dynamically, and the existence of effective cooperation ties between law enforcement agencies was emphasized.
During the meeting, a useful exchange of views was held on cooperation in the fight against crime, and an agreement was reached on continuing cooperation in the areas of extradition, legal assistance, training of prosecutors, and other directions. In addition, during the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed with the aim of strengthening legal cooperation between the prosecutor’s offices of the two countries and further intensifying the existing relations in the future.
