The presidential and parliamentary elections in Moldova have clearly shown how important resilience against cyber threats is, said Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Moldova to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Alexander Esaulenko, at the “Critical Infrastructure Defense Challenge 2025” (CIDC-2025) event held in Baku, APA reports.
Stating that they faced cyber threats during the elections in Moldova, the ambassador noted that these threats can only be prevented through joint activities and close cooperation of various agencies.
Considering that cybersecurity should be an integral part of the national security strategy of every state, Esaulenko emphasized the benefits of interstate cooperation and exchange of experience in this area.
“We are interested in benefiting from the rich experience gained by Azerbaijan in ensuring cybersecurity,” the ambassador added.
