Yesterday, drone attacks were carried out against the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic from the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran, leaving four people injured, said Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov during a joint press conference with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova Mihai Popșoi, APA reports.
The minister stated that this is unacceptable: “The position of the Azerbaijani state was conveyed yesterday. Iran’s ambassador was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and our expectations were communicated to him. Everyone was able to hear the messages delivered yesterday during President Ilham Aliyev’s speech at the Security Council. The Iranian side promised that the issue would be investigated, and we expect the results of this investigation in the near future.”
