"Azerbaijan's membership in the D-8 opens up new prospects for trade, investment and economic cooperation with Pakistan," said Azerbaijani Minister of Defense Industry Vugar Mustafayev at an official reception in Baku on the occasion of the National Day of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, APA reports.
According to the minister, last year Azerbaijan joined the Economic Cooperation Organization (D-8), of which Pakistan is also a member, and Azerbaijan has gained the opportunity to further expand its economic relations within the framework of the organization:
"Azerbaijan's membership in the D-8 opens up new prospects for trade, investment and economic cooperation with other member countries, including Pakistan."
