"Azerbaijan is helping Somalia to expand its energy and oil sector. For this, I thank the Azerbaijani government," Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia Abdisalam Abdi Ali said at a joint press conference with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, APA reports.
He stated that Azerbaijan is the first country to extract oil at sea: “Thank you for sharing your experience with us.”
The minister also noted that Somalia has rich experience in agriculture, and cooperation between the two countries in this field can be developed.
