The parliamentary delegation of Azerbaijan, led by Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova, has arrived in the Republic of Uzbekistan on a visit to take part in the 2nd Asian Women’s Forum, the Press and Public Relations Department of the Milli Majlis told APA.
Speaker Sahiba Gafarova was welcomed at the Bukhara International Airport by Member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Gulnara Maroofova, Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Uzbekistan Huseyn Guliyev, and other officials.
The visit itinerary includes Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova’s participation in the official opening ceremony of the 2nd Asian Women’s Forum and a number of bilateral meetings.
