Milli Majlis forms new Working Groups on Interparliamentary Relations

New interparliamentary working groups are being formed in the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament), APA reports.

This was reflected in the draft discussed at the meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on International Relations and Interparliamentary Ties.

According to the proposed amendment to the Resolution of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On the election of heads of interparliamentary working groups of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan,” it is proposed to establish the following interparliamentary working groups:

Azerbaijan–Kenya Interparliamentary Working Group – Ramid Zakir oglu Namazov;

Azerbaijan–Gambia Interparliamentary Working Group – Eyvaz Dashdamir oglu Gurbanov;

Azerbaijan–Laos Interparliamentary Working Group – Gulshan Mammadali gizi Pashayeva;

Azerbaijan–Maldives Interparliamentary Working Group – Azer Karim oglu Allahveranov;

At the same time, the chair of the Azerbaijan–Nepal Interparliamentary Working Group is changing, with Vasif Gafarov replacing Ramil Hasani.
