The United States suspended discussions on providing security guarantees to Ukraine
It was noted that the issue of security guarantees for Ukraine is currently not being discussed in the United States. As a result, the United Kingdom and France are considering relevant proposals in this direction.
The source also stated that defense ministers from the aforementioned countries are expected to discuss the Ukraine issue later this week.
It should be noted that the United States began imposing sanctions against Russia in 2014. In 2017, the CAATSA law, which included restrictions on the defense and energy sectors, was adopted. Subsequently, the sanctions list has been expanded a total of 28 times.
