US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has congratulated the people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of Independence Day, APA reports.
The congratulatory message reads:
“On behalf of the United States, I congratulate the people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of Independence Day.
Over the past year, we elevated our relations to the level of a Strategic Partnership, culminating in Vice President JD Vance and President Ilham Aliyev signing the Strategic Partnership Charter in Baku. We look forward to further advancing our partnership by expanding regional connectivity, economic ties, and security cooperation.
The United States welcomes Azerbaijan’s commitment to lasting peace in the South Caucasus and looks forward to continuing our cooperation on these efforts. We look forward to deepening our partnership in the coming year and beyond.”
