“NATO’s presence is a guarantee of the European Union,” said former Prime Minister of Malta Joseph Muscat at the panel discussion within the framework of XI Global Baku Forum, APA reports.
“The European Union is different format of NATO. However, putting works of NATO on the European Union is wrong,” he added.
The former Prime Minister also talked about U.S. presidential elections: “I’m sure that the era of Trump will begin again in the United States. Trump's re-election as president will also affect relations with Russia.”
