Russian and Armenian Foreign Ministers Sergey Lavrov and Ararat Mirzoyan had a telephone conversation, APA's Moscow correspondent reports citing the Russian Foreign Ministry.
During the telephone conversation initiated by the Armenian side, the parties exchanged opinions on a number of urgent issues of the bilateral agenda.
The ministers expressed their mutual intention to strengthen the alliance between Moscow and Yerevan.
Besides, Lavrov and Mirzoyan discussed the problems regarding the normalization of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations. The Russian side stressed the importance of the rapid restoration of work on the implementation of the tripartite agreements dated November 9, 2020, January 11, November 26, 2021, and October 31, 2022, at the highest level, including the restoration of all transport and economic relations in the region, delimitation and demarcation of the border Armenia-Azerbaijan border, the agreement on the parameters of the peace treaty between Yerevan and Baku, as well as the promotion of dialogue between public figures, experts and parliamentarians.
