The Embassy of Latvia has condemned the drone attack on Azerbaijan, the embassy said in its social media account, APA reports.
“The Embassy of the Republic of Latvia in the Republic of Azerbaijan strongly condemns the drone attacks on the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, which damaged the airport, caused injuries to civilians, and violated the principles of international law. We stand in solidarity with Azerbaijan and once again emphasize our support for peace and stability in the region,” the embassy said.
Note that today, drone attacks were carried out against the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan from the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran. One drone hit the terminal building of Nakhchivan Airport, while another fell near a school building in the village of Shakarabad. The airport building was damaged, and four people were injured.
