Cooperation among the Central Asian states has gained a qualitatively new dimension, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov said at the Informal Consultative Meeting of the Presidents of Azerbaijan and the Central Asian countries, APA's correspondent dispatched to Kyrgyzstan reports.

"In recent years, cooperation among the Central Asian states has gained a qualitatively new dimension. Fundamental and historic agreements have been reached on state borders. One of the notable results of strengthened regional cooperation is the mutual support our countries provide each other in the international arena. I sincerely thank you for supporting the Kyrgyz Republic's candidacy for non-permanent membership of the UN Security Council for 2027–2028. The adoption in Tashkent of the appeal by the heads of Central Asian states addressed to the UN member states became a vivid example of regional solidarity and important support for our country.

During its work on this important international platform, the Kyrgyz Republic will promote the common interests of the region," the Kyrgyz president said.
