Kyrgyz President announced his country's proposals at the ECO Khankendi Summit

The Kyrgyz Republic, supporting Azerbaijan’s initiative, is implementing tourism projects, said Kyrgyz Republic President Sadyr Japarov at the 17th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), APA’s correspondent dispatched to Khankendi reports.

The President of the Kyrgyz Republic said that this plays an important role in diversifying the economy: “One of the important projects is the railway project with China. This project is also being successfully implemented.”

Emphasizing the necessity of cooperation in the digital field, Sadyr Japarov noted that effective combat against cybercrime can also be carried out together: “Transportation and logistics connections among the member states of the Organization should be developed by simplifying border-crossing procedures. Digitalization in customs is important. For landlocked countries, we propose reviewing reduced tariffs at ports. The Kyrgyz Republic has large mineral deposits. We are ready to create favorable conditions for foreign and local investors.”
