Russia welcomes the direct dialogue between Armenia and Azerbaijan held today in Abu Dhabi, said Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.
According to him, the signing of a peace agreement between Baku and Yerevan will help bring stability to the region, and Moscow supports this process.
“We have repeatedly said at various levels that we will welcome swift progress toward signing a peace agreement. The signing of the peace agreement will become a very important factor bringing predictability, stability, and peace to the region. We fully support this process,” emphasized the Russian President’s press secretary.
