No need to rush into wearing “rose-colored glasses” regarding the suspension of US military aid to Ukraine, said Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.
He urged not to celebrate Washington’s suspension of military aid to Kyiv.
Peskov stated that so many weapons have been delivered to Ukraine that they will last for months after the supply is stopped. According to him, if Musk disconnects Ukraine from Starlink, the Kyiv militants will quickly get an alternative.
“We should always hope for the best, but still be prepared for the worst. We must always be ready to defend our interests. Now, many are rushing to put on rose-colored glasses and say that Americans will stop supplying weapons or have already stopped, that Elon Musk will turn off his communication systems, and everything will work out for us. Everything will work out for us even without that,” Peskov said at the scientific-practical conference "Modern Media: Meaningful Strategies and Personnel Training."
Peskov said that a proxy and quasi-war is being waged against Russia, but Russian specialists are also skilled in this area.
Putin’s spokesperson expressed confidence that Russia would win the information war.
