Kremlin optimistic about Russian and Azerbaijani leaders' meeting

On October 7, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev agreed to meet during a positive and constructive phone conversation, said Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.

He emphasized that the Kremlin views the meeting optimistically and that the presidents will discuss problematic issues.

Note that according to information released by the Kremlin, a bilateral meeting between Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Russian President Vladimir Putin will take place today in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan.
