“Azerbaijan and Armenia are Georgia’s strategic partners, and we strive to strengthen these relations to the maximum,” said Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze at the 5th Tbilisi Silk Road Forum, APA’s local bureau reports.
He stated that Georgia is a reliable partner for neighboring countries.
“Peace is a fundamental condition for the region’s economic development and progress. Georgia’s policy is aimed at peace, cooperation, and partnership in the region,” said the Prime Minister.
I. Kobakhidze also spoke about the importance of projects being implemented in the region. According to him, the Middle Corridor project is of great significance for all participating countries, and the Black Sea underwater electricity cable project will strengthen Georgia’s transit function.
