“The completion of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway project is another indication of the strategic partnership and successful cooperation among Georgia, Azerbaijan and Türkiye," said Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze during the official inauguration ceremony of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars (BTK) railway line, APA’s local bureau reports.
According to him, the BTK line had been operating in test mode since 2017, and the volume of transported cargo had been increasing year by year.
Kobakhidze noted that the commissioning of the BTK railway line will further enhance the competitiveness of the Middle Corridor.
