The victims of the Khojaly genocide were commemorated in Yekaterinburg, Russia, APA’s Russia bureau reports.
A memorial ceremony and photo exhibition dedicated to the 34th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide were organized at the Consulate General of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Yekaterinburg.
As a sign of mourning, the national flag was lowered to half-mast in front of the Consulate General building.
The memorial event concluded with a screening of the documentary film “I Carry My Pain,” directed by Vagif Mustafazada, which depicts the atrocities of Khojaly.
